How adding listening to the design process sparks innovation.
In your work as marketing leaders, you are often the ones building what’s new: new campaigns, new looks, new systems. And the key ingredient to leading “newness” is listening. Not listening as we may know it—the kind that is active, polite, and conversational—but listening as a formal step in a design process. This kind of listening (framed by a brief, pursuing a specific user, with a goal in mind) can change the game for our pursuits of newness. This kind of listening has many tools, but few teachers.
That’s where the Listening Lab comes in. It’s a unique, interactive, hands-on learning environment to try new tools and approaches to our research, interviews, and input-gathering. We invite you to dip into Domain7’s toolkit of design research (customized for marketing leaders) and learn alongside your peers.
